The magenta one points right, the orange one points left. They aim at each other.
Arms between 46 and 49 degrees
No arm sits at exactly 45 degrees. The slight offset makes the mark look drawn rather than constructed.

At the crossing the two tips reach into each other, measured on the 1024-unit grid the mark is drawn on. That is where it runs hottest.
