Layora – design product catalogs with AI

Layora is the web app that Axenta GmbH operates and sells for designing product catalogs with AI. From a short brief, your product data and your photos, it builds a designed, editable multi-page catalog that you export as a PDF with clickable navigation. This guide covers who Layora suits, what you create with it and how to start.

Who Layora suits

Layora suits retailers, makers and restaurants who need a catalog, a menu or a lookbook without commissioning a design from scratch. The interface is in German and English, and Layora is available as a live beta.

It pays off especially when a range or a menu changes often, since a tool that lets you update pages, prices and products yourself beats commissioning a new design for every change.

How a catalog comes together

You describe your catalog in your own words and add photos and a logo. The AI proposes six cover directions; once you pick one, it plans and builds the remaining pages. Alongside that sit 38 templates, for menus, hotels, real estate, lookbooks and annual reports, among others, and you can save templates of your own. You import product data as CSV or JSON, and upload images, search Unsplash or generate them with AI.

Once you have chosen the direction for the cover, Layora sticks with it throughout: the fonts, colours, spacing, grid and composition of the following pages follow that one choice, instead of starting over again on every new page. That keeps even a lengthy catalog with many pages looking like one consistent piece of design work.

A restaurant can update its own menu this way as soon as a dish or a price changes, without commissioning a new design every time. A maker with many products imports the product data from a CSV file and then refines individual pages in the editor, instead of designing every page by hand.

Your facts stay exactly as supplied

Layora keeps product names, prices and original photos exactly as you supply them; missing information is marked as a draft, not invented. If a price changes in your source, Layora picks up exactly that new price; the AI would never invent or round one. A separate AI step reviews the rendered pages at the end and only moves or resizes elements, never text or facts, and every repair can be undone.

Where Layora deliberately draws the line

Layora never changes the prices or product names you supply, not even to make a sentence read more smoothly. Whatever appears as fact in the document comes from your data or is explicitly marked as a draft; the AI designs, moves and suggests, and it does not touch your facts. The final repair step keeps to that same boundary: it only moves and resizes elements, and leaves text, prices, photos, fonts and colours untouched.

The finished catalog leaves Layora as a vector PDF with clickable navigation inside the document, ready to send by email or embed on your own website. Open layora.ai and describe your first catalog.
